NYFG Releases 'Doors Work Both Ways' in Second W.F.P.=O.U.T. Web Ad

New York, NY - August 23... New Yorkers for Growth, a political action committee dedicated to returning New York State to firm fiscal footing, today released the second web ad of its "W.F.P. Spells O.U.T.- Out!" marketing campaign announced last week. The new ad, titled "Doors Work Both Ways" urges voters to oust long-time incumbents that have enjoyed nearly certain chances for re-election in New York State, leading to reckless spending and high taxes.

You can view the ad on YouTube here.

"For decades, New York State incumbents have been re-elected 98% of the time," said New Yorkers for Growth spokesman, former Larchmont Mayor Liz Feld. "Today, we are seeing the effects of perennial incumbency in the form of the highest taxes in America. This ad will remind New Yorkers that doors work both ways, and urge them to use the 'out' door this year for anyone running on the special-interest WFP line. Those three letters mark the worst of the worst tax and spenders in the state."

The WFP, which is closely associated with the radical group ACORN, is a collection of unions and special interest organizations that oppose virtually all efforts of fiscal reform in state and local government. The WFP advocates higher state spending, dramatically higher taxes, borrowing, and more expensive union contracts, despite New York's deteriorating fiscal picture. Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Cuomo refused to accept the W.F. P. endorsement.
