Cuomo needs a challenge and faces will change, but issue of ensuring prosperity remains by John Faso

Dear New Yorkers for Growth Friends,

Please find below two opinion editorials: one that ran in Monday's New York Daily News and one in Sunday's Albany Times Union by New Yorkers for Growth Co-Founder and 2006 New York gubernatorial candidate John Faso. Arguing against a coronation of Andrew Cuomo, John implores the media and the public to do the hard and necessary work of screening and researching candidates before they make a decision in his Daily News column. In the Albany Times Union, John gives clear policy prescriptions to save New York including cutting spending, lowering taxes and creating a more hospitable environment for business, while asking voters to look beyond petty politics in deciding who should lead New York.

New York is facing tumultuous water, and regardless of who is at the helm, leadership and a steady hand is needed to bring us back to solid ground.
