Dear Supporters:

On February 11, 2010 New Jersey Governor Chris Christie gave a stirring speech to a Special session of the New Jersey Legislature regarding the budget for Fiscal Year 2010. New Yorkers for Growth spokesman Liz Feld had this to say about Governor Christie's speech:

"While New Jersey, under the leadership of Governor Chris Christie, has begun the hard and necessary work of restoring fiscal order to their State, our elected officials continue to believe the only solution is to add new layers of taxes and fees to cash-strapped New Yorkers. We cannot tax our way out of our problems. New York needs real leadership; an example is right across the Hudson. "
